BEST blush ever (which matches all skin colours very well): eversun.. only available at limited locations though.. mainly the bay.

go with their eye shadows..get the basic colours to take with you at least..gold, a white shimmer for eyebrow bone highlighting, and potentially some colours to match ur dresses. also, get a black eye shadow.

i am NOT a fan of their lip glosses...too sticky and not comfortable. pick up a few lipsticks for sure.

mascara is really good toooooo

OH and you should definitely pick up their make-up fixadent. you spray it on after ur done putting on your mkae-up and it will stay in place FOR HOURS.

TBH i'm not really a fan of their foundations, they are either too pink or too orange.

What is your complexion like? For a great base, i would go with Bobbi Brown. For everything else i would go with MAC (blush, eyeshadow etc) as they have the best pigments

For foundations, I too love bobbi brown.. MAC has nice "fixing sprays" and their "strobe" cream is fantastic!

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Their moisturizer/moisture lush, blushcreme, powder blush/ eye pigments, paint pots, fixing spray, studio fix, primer .. almost everything!! But face powder I find alrite, that I use Clinique. Just go to the store and go crazy!!

However while getting the studio fix always make sure you buy the bottle where all the writing is in gold, dont get the one where it says MAC in blazk .. those for some freason dont blend well ... and they arent fake either cause I bought them from a MAC store .. something weird about them though ..

They have the BEST liquid foudation, make sure u buy the pumper with it, because tht way it lasts really long. apply it with a sponge and it blends right in! you cant even tell u have anything on ur face and skin looks so clear!!

AND try their Mineralized Shadow Duos!! very very good!

I only like their shadows and strobe cream. Not a big fan of their foundations at all, made me break out like crazy! Also, It's very expensive!! . You can find cheaper eyeshadows, if yu go to sephora and look for a eyeshadow pallete.. if yu aren't a makeup artist...i really dont think that you need MAC quality eyeshadows. Invest in a good primer, like urban decay's primer potion (i think thats what it's called) and an ordinary shadow will pop out. Do research on the kind of blushes you want and get those instead of going to mac and completely relying on MA's recomme. You don't really need too many blushes. Get 2-3. A contour color and a highlight color. My fav. mascara is Covergirl's lashblast...so amazing! My husband asked me if I was wearing fake eyelashes when I had this on..and I knew this is the one. haha.
Just my two cents.

Save money...Shop Smart. Good luck!

Okay, their foundation breaks me out like a pepperoni pizza. Lifey, I would stay away if I were you.

But, a few things I like are their eyeshadows...MAC, Lancome and Dior have AWESOME staying power.

Their strobe cream is popular although I havent tried it yet.

I really really like their eyeshadow bases in Barestudy and Rubenesque...VERY nice.

Well..I love MAC foundations..studio fix, studio tech..it really glides on very smoothly..(make sure to put a primer beforehand). And they have sooo many shades, however, i find studio fix a bit yellowish so I mix it with a bit of trublend by Covergirl foundation - gives sucha nice flawless look. Absolutely love it!

Mac eyeshadows are nice. They have good pigments and stick to your skin and stay there! I personally like MAC foundation. I use the Studio Fluid in NC 44 and it suits my skin tone. I have yellow undertones and it's hard to find a foundation that is yellow enough to blend into my skin naturally. Most of them have pink or blue undertones. It's interesting how certain cosmetics work great for some and not so much for others I also like MAC lipsticks. Their matte shades are nice. I'm curious about the strobe cream and hope to try it soon.

The first and foremost thing you need to do for yourself is determine what skintone you have. Nobody can do that for you but yourself.

Look at your face minus makeup in a mirror in normal sunlight. If you see pink then your skin is cool if if its yellow/brown then you are a warm one.

With this in hand, search google for what sort of shades sit well with yourr undertone.

A lavendar eyeshadow might look super cool in the box but might make you look like you are sick if it doesnt compliment the tone of your skin.

Once you have decided on all that, buying makeup will be a breeze.

Next thing to keep in mind is what sort of skin you have and what climate will you be using most of the makeup in.

Two blushes one peachy/pink and one brown/bronze should compliment all makeup styles till you feel the need to venture out on more shades.

Spend more on eyeshadows so you have a few colors that you can mix and match, buy a colorstay eyepencil/liner

and a few lipsticks.
