She gets her upperlips waxed, and before it was ine but recently aftter she is getting them waxed there seems to be black marks left on her skin (upperlips) she has tried using aloevera, cleanser, scrubs, rose water and what not. I have recently also tried threading for her upperlips and it still doesnt seem to work.

The upper lip area is very sensitive and if waxing/threading is causing a reaction and leaving the skin pigmented.. she should just bleach it and let her skin rest for a while.

Aloe Vera works on normal skin and inflamed/red skin.. if skin's broken due to threading/waxing then an antibiotic cream is u're solution

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

In winters and dry weather our skin produces more natural oil (sebum) to keep the skin moisturized. Glands are more active.. keep u're skin very clean and use a tea tree facewash/cleanser and an alcohol-free toner 2-3 times a day.

For the under-the-skin pimples apply a topical antibiotic cream such as Fucidin, Bactroban.

Salam Gina api...
I am 20 years old. I have really good skin.(normal to combination skin)

Kia mujhe itni young age mein kisi cheez ki zaroorat hai apne face ke liye?

Products jo main ajkal use karti hoon is from Nivea(toner and cleansing milk, the blue one for normal to combination skin) Kia yeh thik hain? Do they contain alcohol?

Main scrub karti hon once a week, St Ives apricot scrub. Kia yeh thik hai?

Mask, sometimes a clay mask or sometime Garnier 3-1 (I use it as a mask) once a week.

And Oil of olay beauty fluid as a moisturizer.

Daring

i had a question: i waxed my arms about a week and a half ago and realized this strange discoloration on a large part of my arm. its like a tanner/more browner patch of skin that formed after waxing. i think its because i pulled too hard and the wax got stuck so i re-applied warm wax on that area and tried pulling up the strip once or twice again. why do you think my skin formed this dark patch? What can i do about it? =/

^i get that too..
i mix a tablespoon of amlactin
a bit of hydrocortisone cream 1%
a few drops of 20% glycolic peel

rub on my arms for 3 days..twice a day. (do not use hydrocortisone cream for more than 7 days straight..there is a risk of fungal infection)

it takes some time..but it does fade away.

U're 20, u really don't need a cocktail of products on u're face.. just stick to u're cleansing/toning/moisturizing routine.. and use a scrub and mask once in a week.

U're welcome, I'm glad all the remedies worked right before u're wedding

A peel is best done at the derms clinic, where they apply a fruit peel (glycolic peel) to u're face and observe it closely.. and remove it. This results in superficial peeling and sometimes scabbing that goes-away in a couple of days. U're derm would be the best person to ask..he/she will tell u how many sessions u require.

A micro-derm is basically very fine exfoliation using crystal oxide and this buffs u're skin. A home version is pretty mild comes with a exfoliation cream and attachment..

Be sure and wear sunblock to prevent any pigmentation.

Benetint is available at the Benefit stall at any Faces, Paris Gallery.

Cheerful

i will recommand green peel safest, fastest and result oriented , new skin in just five days and no side effect however want to do it at home than here is a peel formula dont use it under or on eyes and it will give you somehow invisible peel not that scary
Retin A 10grms
Cliquinal 10 grms
cylix 10 grms/urea 10 grms
mix them and use twice daily in fifteen days peeling will complete nad new skin will b there without any mark and your new skin will be pinkish and glowy

Please see u're derm and have u're skin tested before you apply the above mentioned cocktail to u're face. Those are VERY potent and harsh chemicals to be mixing and putting on u're face.

Wrong use of it may result in perm scarring and infection. A mixture should be prescribed by u're derm after thorough examination of u're skin.
