Milly, depends on what suits u're skin.. Neutrogena Noxema and T-zone are great products and so is tea tree facewash by The Body Shop.

Sahar, face cream with collagen are great for firming sagging skin under the chin area.. an egg white beaten is also know to firm loose skin.

HNK, the breakout during the teens is what leaves behind unsightly scars.. teens shud also follow a proper skin-care regime with antibacterial facewash and water-based cleansers.

Pyaari it's in the Glowing Brides thread..on the wedding forum

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Thanks Gina, I got some blistex and that seems to have done the trick.

Is there anything I can do to fade marks left by spots? Can you direct me to where you may have answered this question? I have very dry skin which is also quite sensitive.

Tigerlily.. home remedies do work but they take a long time I suggest u're derm and maybe he/she wud be able to prescribe u topical lightening creams/gels.

A home-remedy is red sandalwood powder, wild turmeric and lemon juice (enuff to make a paste) leave it on for 1/2 hour and wash-off

Saffron oil is also known to fade acne marks.

Thanks Gina, I'll give the home remedy above a try. It's not that bad and can be covered by make up, so would prefer to go the natural route.

Thank you for all your help

Thanks, Gina. I've heard about all the little jaw exercises, but I have my doubts about their effectiveness.

Gina: could you suggest a good Vitamin E cream for scarring? There are so many out there, not sure which one to choose!

Sahar, some of those exercises REALLY work! Close u're hand in a fist and put the flat part of hand under u're chin.. open and close u're mouth several times.

And tilt u're head back.. and stretch u're lower lip over u're upper lip..u'll feel the stretch around u're chin/neck area!

Nancy, I blv that u're using too many things at one time..just stick to one routine of cleansing/toning moisturising..and scrub 2-3 times a week. Use cleansers that have tea tree oil or witch hazel..they're ideal for oily/acne prone skin.

Chamak, The Body Shop's Vitamin E face cream is one I like.. i'd actually purchase vitamin E capsules and prick them and use the oil on the scars..helps distribute melanin and fade scars.

thanx gina, so should i just do my regular routine, cleansing, scrubbing ? Is there nothing else i can do to get rid of those or stop them during the teens? when do the pimples usually stop, in the 20's?

Yes, but scrub 2-3 times a week not more than that! Hormones fluctuate when u're in u're teens..acne settles down once u're hormones do as well..some girls continue to breakout later-on.

If it's acute acne then u need to see a derm that will prescribe oral antibiotics along with topical creams.

arghh what about white heads. instead of pimples i seem to be breaking out with weird white heads that turn into pimples arghhh, and it goes away from one place and another one shows up. i never had acne, this just started and just wont stop, it's like right between my two eyebrows.
