Hi,

I have Very Sensitive skin. I was wondering if the guppans here can share home made remedies for facials? And, creams for moisture? I got a facial after like 4 yrs! and my skin was looking amazing, but, I don't think I want to be spending soo much money every month for a facial especially if i can get the same results at home....

I'd appreciate your help!

Mashed banana and milk powder as a cleanser..

Rosewater as a toner..

Orange juice and brown sugar as a scrub.. or olive oil and brown sugar.
Almond peel powder and olive oil.

Masks:
Fullers-earth & rosewater/orange juice
Mashed strawberries and honey
Avocado and honey (for an undernourished face)

These are for normal skin.. lemme know if u have either dry or oily skin.

Gina, thanx for the helpful tips, i am going to try them!
Do I need to add water to rosewater? or just use it as it is?

I have dry skin

i have a sensitive skin as well... the other day i read abt using tomato juice on the face to reduce oiliness...and after applyin the juice for like abt a min...my skin started to get a tingling sensation..and itching...i washed it off...there was redness for abt an hr...

my advice : alwayz do a patch test before u apply anything on the face!!!!

Tomatoes have certain enzymes that work on the skin and may leave it slightly red.. the skin calms down in an hour though. Just moisturize really well.

Rosewater moisturizes skin.. it's used along with glycerine, and honey.. on it's own it's a great toner!

Great, now I know what to do with the strawberries in my fridge. Better on my face than in my stomach. Will def try the mask.
