So guys, i have a wedding to go to inshallah in July. I have bought my sari ka kapra etc which is going to be custom made inshallah nearer to the time as i am expecting so waiting to get big. Its gold and cream coloured sari
Regarding the hair, i have decided to get my hair curled and have a flower put in it. The sort of the flower that is behind the ear and hair has been bought forward from the sides. For example, from right side of the head, it has been brushed to the left into a pony tail or something with a flower on that side too.
Ya know what i am talking about? Please post some suggestions on this type of look. And if you have any pics. What colour flower would suit my sari and i am not going to get a fresh flower - just those big hair clips...or shall i splash out and get a fresh one? Im so excited...
Thank you.
Now Scoot!

Fresh flower would be better if you can pull if off without looking like you are doing a balancing act all the time.
Also remember it should be normal size...should not look like the "the potted plant" has arrived when you walk in.

Farr Farr you will look like anarkali
Make sure you have motia ka phool in your hair You will look gorgeous! Well you already do with those freckles of yours but still
And: No I am not flooding!
Just telling Sunset Eyes to use Jasmine flower in her hair for this kind of look because she will look pretty with it. Like those ladies use motie ke kajres in pakistan in their hairs to go to weddings!
here is an example...
this is where she is using jasmine..

Fayax I have met her and seen her and I am sure she can pull off a flower in her hair
This kind of remark was not necessary at all.

What you say is not the truth. Neither is it an opinion that is needed, warranted or requested on top of my comment.
So what was necessary or NOT necessary is pretty much a moot point.
Now baath rahee chat kee. I am sure you have spent more time on there than I. So who the slacker now?
Anyway back to the flower thing.
Dont look like you are trying to hide in the garden either. Made sure you take the flower off if you go there and every table has similar flowers....lol

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond to look beyond the imperfections!

hi have a check on youtube. Im sure i seen one the other day but cant find the video.
That hairstyle would look really nice with a saree. I would recommend a low bun on one side rather than a pony tail. But either look good no matter what.

It's not a look that I'm particularly fond of because i think only a few people can pull it off. A friend of mine put a flower in her hair for a wedding and she looked GORGEOUS. It really suited her. She had cut her hair short and curled it (50's style) and placed a purple flower (lily, i think) behind her right ear. While it worked for her, i've seen the flower look flop miserably on others.
Try it out first, maybe get some opinions. And if u like it, go for it. If ya don't there are many other styles to choose from. Best wishes!
