Hello Niksik......like you I m also waiting for Gina's comments....but here is what I do........frequency may vary...but I try to do it as regularly as possible........but my lazypun always wins....
I usually start my pedicure by carefully removing old nail polish, using a nail polish remover, in my experience I have found that always use a good brand of remover, afterwards, I cut my toenails and file em'.
Then I soak them in a tub of warm, soapy water for about 20 minutes. Then I remove the dry/rough skin on the soles of my feet with a pumice stone. Gently rubbing the pumice stone in circular motions on the sides and the heel of my feet.
If you wear lotsa open shoes then, use a nail brush to gently remove the dirt from under your nails and even better if you have have cuticle cream at home, you can now apply it around your toenails. If you don’t have cuticle cream, use oil and massage well. Push back the cuticles using rounded orange woodstick ......BUT....gently.......
Once you are done then apply a rich moisturizer or cream to your feet. Massage well and continue massaging for about 10 to 15 minutes. Pay special attention to the soles of your feet and heel. then give your feet a few minutes to absorb the cream, and then gently wipe off the excess cream with some cotton.
Now the nail enamel part, start painting your toenails. Start by applying a base coat to the nails. Choose a nail color and then apply 2 coats of it to each toenail. Always allow the nail paint to dry between coats.
I try to do my pedicure at least once a month. If you have the time and the inclination, you can pamper your feet with pedicure twice a month. Your feet will revel in the extra attention......
