I heard about the use of Laser resurfacing procedure...try talking to a Dermotologist.
Also Derma Blend is a good prodect to cover marks.

Laser can help to remove acne scars and shrink your oil glands so you don't break out as much. Whatever you do, don't touch your pimples, it can lead to holes in the skin which are more permanent. Go to your dermatologist. He can prescribe a cream to help fade out the scars. The cream could contain bleaching agents such as hydroquinone and benzoyl peroxide to help lighten your marks. The derm could also prescribe a treatment to reduce break outs. My derms suggested drinking water and she said eating yogurt can lessen breakouts. I think it's best if you consult a doctor to get a better idea about your skin.

Go to a derm and get a skin lightening gel..
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

I used lemon juice to get rid of some acne scars I had and it worked. They were very light scars though so I don't know if it will help you.

I learned from the dermatologist that there is a difference between a spot and a scar and most people make the mistake of interchanging them. A spot is a daagh.....and the dark ones are made up of several layers of skin....in which case it's best to go to a dermatologist who will give you medicine that can penetrate those layers and lighten the spots.
A scar, on the other hand is a hole/or pits in the skin. It tends to be more permanent and although laser can help resurface the scars and reduce their appearance....it's tough to get rid of them completely. That's why they say don't pick at your pimples....it can lead to the development of scars. Here is what a scar looks like:

The key to getting rid of scars, is to prevent pimples. That is, for light acne sufferers. Scars fade with time (w. in 1 month) if you use nothing. So the main thing is to prevent pimples from occuring in the first place. No pimples, no scars.
I used Clean and clear daily to wash my face and then use Noxema Pad. I have found that it leaves my face fresh and clean, and the the noxema prevents any pimples and accerates the elimination of whatever scar I may have from that one pimple that I sometimes get at the time of the month.
But everyone's face is different. I only suffered with light acne, and I feel that what you describe is similar, so you may want to try it out. I find that for me THe key is to keep you face clean, and never, never go to bed without cleaning your face with clean and clear face wash + noxema pad.
but acne is one of those, where it's different for everybody...you really have to play with products...it took me a WHOLE year to figure the product that worked best for me.
Also i'm not talking about icepick or very very dark scars- i never really had them.

marks takes agesss to heal! Everybody's skin is different i guess. My skin at the moment esp my cheeks are full of red marks, every single spot even the tiniest thing leaves a stupid red mark unfortunately.
Im using rose hip oil and this fade cream by AMBI at the mo to see if i can get rid of these marks a i have a wedding to attend! To be honest neither are making a difference but guess time will tell.

Hi!
Look into Hydroquinone Gel and True Brightening Therapy, both are from PCA skin products.
The Hydroquinone Gel is actually FDA approved for hyperpigmentation (darkening of skin due things like acne marks, etc.)
I bought both, and although I'm so lazy and never wear it, I am seeing results. Its speeds up the healing process I guess. I am sure if I wore it consistently, all the marks would be very faint by now.
If you do get it, you should get both for sure. Apply them at the same time, and WEAR SUNSCREEN on top of it. If you're wearing it at night, then apply some moisturizer on top!
:-)

I don't know what you should use but you should definitely not use strivectin SD. It's $135 down the drain for scars and stretch marks.
If you have dark spots on the face then try using Shiseido's white lucent concentrated serum. It's pricey but you can get a sample of it to try it out at a Shiseido counter or at sephora.
