Im talking western wear. Anyone know whats to come? Havent seen anything specific in terms of clothing but the gladiator sandals and shoes are everywhereeee and much prettier than last year! Check out Aldo's... they've got tons of gorgeous footwear And if you go to their site you could find a bunch of great deals in their sale section.

The major trands for this Summer are :
Sheer
The models looked almost naked on the catwalk during fashion week, a big sign that sheer is big news for this year. Nude was the most popular, but black and white also made an appearance. Emma Cook took the see-through trend one step further by creating a range of Macs, punctured with swarovski crystals, while Louise Goldin showed white sheer leggings and tops. Betty Jackson also produced a stunning sheer dress, with the top half embroidered to preserve the models modesty.
Neon
If the catwalk is to be believed, we will be rocking neon in a big way come summer. DKNY showed crazy colour, as did Giles and House of Holland. This is a trend which can be worked to the max, or just sampled if its not your thing. expect to see plenty of neon accessories to accompany the rock tees and neon jeans that will be flooding the high-street.
Cropped or tapered trousers
Cropped trousers are a great buy for this summer, especially if you're not confident about your legs. They look smart, sophisticated and can be dressed up or down. The ones appearing on the catwalk, however were loud, colourful and patterned, so if that's a forecast for next year then our advice is to keep the rest of your look very simple... be careful about the tapered trouser though.... they're only flattering if you're basically a size 0
One shoulder dresses
This trend is great because it carries on from the one-shoulder dresses we have seen this season. Luella showed some stunning one-shoulder styles, as did Jenny Peckham with her gorgeous Cinderella style dresses. This will look great for going out in those summer evenings, as the one-shoulder style is so versatile, it works for both maxi and mini dresses.
Fringing
Vivienne Westwood showed fringing on shirts, which we think was pretty fashion forward of the designer. We've seen fringing on bags, skirts and coats, but never on shirts. We think the native Indian trend will be big for summer, so dig out any feathers you have to wear in your hair and embrace your native side.
English Eccentric
Think Ugly Betty does Parisian garden party for this trend. Mix florals and ditzy prints with lace, knit and the essential Chanel-style jacket, then rock it up with statement jewellery and quirky headgear.
Club Med
The nautical look has been given a twist. Stripes are still huge news, but combine with every permutation of the classic red, white and blue palette and cute accessories (think oversized hair bows and sunnies).
Eighties
The Dynasty decade is back with a vengeance. Channel Lady Gaga and go for big shoulders, body con dresses, jumpsuits and harem trousers. For fabrics, focus on lycra, detailed denim and anything glitzy, in bold colours.
