all depends on the quality of work ,,,if u see crystals ,stones and square sequins on it thn it cn b super expensive ,,,if just cut pipes, gotti wires and round sequins thn cheap...simple gotti is not very expensive,no matter how much it is used on a dress..thnku

usualy goota patti is hand work so if u go to an expensive place they will sell it to u for a lot of money. but if u got to a low end market your will find it cheaper because most of the shops their get those done by the woman directly, but the high end boutique makes u pay for their shop's name, and place.
if u are in karachi go to hydri, or meena bazar, or places like this.

i wud suggest u better go to some good cheap market..they always have something really gr8 and nice to sell...its not necessary that expensive markets have all the good stuff with them...there r sooo many people who sell cheap stuff with little bit of kaam and saying its handwork..i wud like to advise u dat get ur own lehngha done from the local kaam wala in pak...that way u can negotiate the price and would really get what u want...bcz these people know their job well...if u r in lhr i can recommend u some good shops..! good luck and yeah gotta is never expensive..however wide it is....!

It depends, but you can usually find cheaper varieties of the same work.
