Goofy

I have excessive hair falling.

Originally i used to use Dove - Intensive care that was a very good shampoo as it disappeared my dandruff but the hair fall was still there so i thought may be it is because of chemicals in the shampoo so i thought ill try johnsons baby shampoo as it has very less chemicals and it does not ruin hair. But my hair became very dry and also the hair fall continued. After using it for more than a month, i have now shifted to shampoo FA. It keeps my hair silky but the hair fall has come to a crazy extent .. i run the brush once and some 25 hair come falling out.

As for oiling, i oil my hair every 1 week to 10 days normally. I need this to stop. Is it because of lack of some vitamins, iron, minerals? Or is it due to tension?

DaffyDuck, though it sounds cliched but eating well will help alot. put milk, eggs and fish in ur diet. As for oiling have u tried castor oil wid methidana. I have it helps alot. Zubaida Tariq recommended this once on TV. plus brushing ur hair from ur from neck towards temple may help too.

Stressed

Iron-deficiency/anemia is a common cause for hair fall in women. Make sure to take a multivitamin, eat healthy (fruits, veggies, protein, plenty of water). Also exercise to increase blood circulation, get plenty of sleep, and reduce stress. Try eating sweet potatoes, they have all the nutrients hair needs. My mom was having hair fall and she has noticed it has gotten better after taking vitamins and eating sweet potatoes regularly.

If the above tips don't help. Please consult a doctor. A doctor can examine your scalp and do a blood test to determine if you have low iron count, thyroid condition, hormonal imbalance, or other nutritional deficiencies.

I am having same issue due to stress. I just started taking phyto hair and nail vitamins from sephora and its making a difference. I think you should start taking them too.

Get your iron checked out, and improve your diet. Try aloe vera juice as well, it helps regulate blood circulation.
