Billi,
If your earrings are big (hoops or long chandeliers), the general rule is to skip on the necklace. If your earrings are like tops/studs....then you can wear a necklace with it.
Since it's a tea party....I think that nice silver chandelier earrings would look lovely and sophisticated. And you can skip on the necklace. And just wear a bracelet/or stylish ring.

Nothing will look "missing" if you wear nice long earrings. If they're long....you don't need a necklace. Otherwise it looks overdone. If the earrings are like tops, then wear your necklace.
Does the pearl necklace come with small pearl tops...if so, where the whole set.
My personal opinion.....chandelier earrings are sooo hot whether hair is down or in a bun...they stand out more when hair is in a bun.

* With gold hoops and purse:
* Open hair and a strand of pearls:
* Love the earrings;
* Are you going to do up your hair like this?

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond to look beyond the imperfections!
