Ladies,
Have any of you seen a maxi dress with sleeves(short or long) at any store? Please post info here. All the dresses I have seen are too revealing and I don't like wearing too many layers under/over because it's going to be hot in summer!

I was thinking the exact same thing! I wonder if I can find a seamstress and have her stich it for me? Back in the 70's when the maxi's were "in" they used to be long sleeves...i wonder why they can't make it like that anymore...

i saw one at h&m today... it was completely sheer though (d'oh) so you'd need an underdress for it, but it was very pretty.

that's because they were bell sleeves and kaftan like and those aren't in style.
I think that fabric shops have such great prints (even the ones here like joann's fabric) why not jsut get it made? I myself have really been thinking about getting something like this made in a ombre dyed fabric:
i think most of hte maxi dresses i've seen have really ugly prints i saw a nice one at white house black market last month but when i went back to finally get it unfortunately it was gone.

Nahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Uzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
That Primark dress is a rip-off of the Gucci version i have: ( check at the bottom of this page for a pic)
I don't even want to ask how much it costs ....
I think i'll still go out and buy the Primark version though

I love Primark! Do they still have it in the shops? I'm going to UK end of the month, I hope they still have it :-/

I can't get it made because it's gonna be too expensive not that I can't but it's just a trend which will go away so why waste a lot of money.
SCG, I have seen the one at H&M and it's too sheer for me. I don't get why they are all so revealing, seems like there are very few women like us who don't want to display our goods! :-/
I like this one but it's a Plus size dress. I'm size small!
this one is cute too...i don't like the print though, too ugly for me.

i think the pics of maxi dresses with long sleeves posted in above posts look so peasant-like and matronly... why dont u just wear a fitted t-shirt underneath the dress? ive seen many gori girls do that here in the US and it still looks cute... or get a light shrug/cardigan to wear over it if its a little chilly out

^ She said in the first post that she doesn't want to wear multiple layers
And i think long sleeved maxi dresses have a nice old school look to them....
Though i usually wear my sleevless maxis as they are if it's super hot, with a little T if it's ok, or with a cute denim jacket.... so you have a point.
