I have a white net saree, very sparkly and has lots of sequins on it. I am looking to get the blouse stitched because I want to wear it to a wedding but I am confused whether I should get a sleeveless blouse with it or get capped sleeves. Also, should I wear my hair in an updo or have loose waves (I have really long, dark hair). Im tired of wearing it straight.
Choose your battles wisely.

LOL! they're no better than bras, i agree.
i think elbow length sleeves can look nice..if they are fitted, and it's a lowish back. ending right above the waist, but the navel/stomach doesn't have to be bared.
also, the "proper" way to wear a saree is have the palloo covering both breasts..not just one hanging out, like so many do (to show off the blouse I guess) which doesn't look very nice at all.
Btw what color is the kaam on the outfit? cz m thinking..if it's golden/bronze/copper, a golden/brownish smokey eye and sheer hot pink gloss w/ hot pink nails would look hot.
ok im going too far..
back to studying

I loved the capped sleeves look, tres cute
Also love updos with saris, really kicks the whole look up a notch
If you still want curls, you can do a loose updo with some curls hanging

Thanks girls.
The kind of saree it is, a 3/4 sleeves style will not go with it at all. It's a shimmery off-white net with lots of silver kaam on it. Im probably gonna do smokey eyes with silver and pale lips.. just very confused about sleeves, hair and what kind of earrings to wear with it

IMO capped sleeves, and a nice updo..somkey eyes, nude/pink lips, and larger earrings, no necklace plz. Don't over-do if your saree is heavy.

a jora or bun can be too auntie-ish in my opinion...loose waves are cute but everyone does it...I like a low ponytail worn to one side of the shoulder with hair parted from one side. u look younger and fresher.

Sleeveless blouses look so hot! I am waiting to get married so I can wear them with saris. My mom doesn't allow me to wear sleveless!
Definitely go with sleeveless and loose curls. I think updo's more appropriate when you're married....they do kinda make you look older.
