Purple sari with a bit of silver kaam around the pallu and border.
Please suggest eye shades and lip color. Very confused. Thanks.

Mauve and black smokey eyes?
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

niks if you are not comfortable with eyeshadow...go for a taupe cream eyeshadow...smudged liner..highlighted brow, and mascara....
or something like this

Thanks chanda, I was just afraid of purple standing out. CE's pic looks good. Shall try that effect. I also like Chanda's. Will try both and see what looks better on my skin tone.

omg gorgeous!
ANother question. I used to wear eyeliner on the insides of my eye (bottom) as well but all of a sudden, a few years ago, I quit when I started getting water in my eyes when I did that. I didn't change any brand, don't know why that happened. So I only wear it at the top of eyelids now. Any suggestions on how I can control that?

instead of liner...smudge the bottom with dark shadow or liner...it gives a more softer, prettier shape to the eye...as opposed to the sharp line..

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond to look beyond the imperfections!

do smokey eyes with lots of silver in it. don't make it too dark/black. if it's a dark saree then it should stand out on its own especially with silver kaam. if the makeup is all matchy matchy or dark, it might look a bit odd.
