Mine is cream though, and not roll on.

^Exactly!

I have something similar by a different brand which I use before applying makeup and honestly I don't see it doing anything.

Sick

Sorry to derail the thread but I just wanted to share something that unfortunately I experienced first and then read about it....I had been going through a touch patch a while ago and all the stress and lack of sleep made me look like a raccoon. In desperation, I bought basically anything that claimed to reduce eye circles...They practically did not do what they claimed but they surely did increase crow's feet and I promise I had none before I used those worthless yet expensive eye treatments..I got horrified and stopped using them

Then, one day when I was browsing around and I read this article written by a Paris-based dermatologist that forbade women to use any eye creams that have high concentration of alcohol. Alcohol is infamous to dry the skin out and it's worse for the skin around the eyes since it's much finer than facial skin. So yeah ladies, try to use some natural eye creams/gels that are sans alcohol. As for dark eye circles, rule out the reason why you are actually getting them...You could be anemic or may be just lack of sleep is the culprit or you could be stressed out...For me, it was combination of stress and my disturbed sleep pattern.

One natural remedy that did wonders to my mom's eyes that are prone to get puffed up and dark is the following: Grate potato and cucumber and squeeze them to get juice...Throw the juice in freezer for a couple minutes so it's really chilled..Soak cotton swab in it, put it on your eyes, and leave it on for 15-20 minutes...Do this regularly and you'll see the difference..Trust me, it does work.

^great post.

makes sense too, it's known that those with oilier skin tend to not get so many wrinkles and start getting them a bit later in life.

Oh yes, one more thing that I read last night only and it said that grape see oil can is a great moisturizer and it can be very well used to moisturize the skin around your eyes. That article also said that in order to get optimal result, you can mix equal amounts of almond, jojoba and grape seed oil and this concoction will beat the bestest serum/cream/whatever that is out there...It's natural and it will only give you great results without any damage...Good luck!
