I thought I would go decrepid before Faiza Samee set up her website, but it's finally here...

It's not your typical website, but she has links to her facebook group and videos for fashion shows up on youtube:

ziggy her stuff looks really good, very different to the other designers in pakistan (modern innovative pakistani clothes).

when u last went to her studio do u know if she still had the clothes on display from her karachi show (the pics from the karachi archives youtube link)?

and i think was it u who mentioned somewhere that she can have a tendency to become rude?

thank you so much! i'm trying to decide my mehendi, nikkah, wedding and valima clothes in the next few weeks...and finally someone has a website up that can give me some ideas. i have some outfits from her and they have really remained in mint condition. i wonder if she's the way to go for the mehendi.

I think her work really sets her apart - she's very traditional and at the same time can be a little unconventional, which can only be a good thing for a designer.

The outfits from her karachi show are no longer in her studio. Her collections tend to change quite frequently and in most cases you'll find orders for other clients hanging up in her studio.

She's a very straight talker and won't really budge when it comes to talk of a concession, but it's worth visiting her...

You're welcome

Personally I wouldn't got to her for a mehndhi outfit - she's really good for baraat outfits or probably outfits for your bari...

^ they've gone up radically, but i've noticed that with most of the established designers in Pakistan. What used to cost 70-80,000 RPS is now hitting 120-130,000 RPS...

clothes in pak r getting so expensive, i think its because now way more overseas ppl r buying from designers (esp for their wedding) that they can now hike up their prices and still get ppl to buy their clothes, we should blame the internet for overexposure of pakistani designers causing inflationary pressures!
