Salaams
I have ordered a few gul ahmed suits from Pakistan and was wondering how shall i get them sewn. I have heard long kameez are in fashion now with straight trousers. Was wondering if anyone can post some pics to give me some ideas on how to sew them. Bear in mind that i want to be able to pray so nothing to crazy but trendy.
thanks

Straight pants and capri's are out.. it's flowy bells now.. long kameez'es, with high collars and front-open shirts. Buttons are IN

In simple terms cullotes are in with either front open long shirt or anarkali style shirt with churidar or wide legged pants.

Gina...what kinda buttons and how can we use them in the outfits?
How long is long? Say if I am 5'7...would a 43 inches long shirt look ok?
and when we say straight wide legged pants...how wide should they be around the paincha?
Are ribbons and pipings still in?
I know that's too many questions but I have to get a few outfits stitched in the next week and I am totally lost as to what should be done to them.... I would really appreciate some feedback...

High collars and plain fabric buttons alishat.. and lots of them! Kameez'es are about 3 inches below u're knees.. and fitted and loose flares and cullotes are both in.
Ribbons and laces are IN if it's the slit of the front-open shirt.. or horizontally under the bust area..
Paincha's are anywhere from 9-15 inches..
