Hi Everyone,
As far as my memory goes, I don't remember seeing anybody talking about their experience with Amir Adnan label ( not sherwanis or male kurtas) or their fnk asia line and that is strange as they seem to have nice stuff on their website and I'd like to get a few outfits from them when I'm in Pakistan later this year...So, can anyone tell me about their quality, customer service, price ranges for their formals and semi-formals etc.?

I think Amir Adnan is talented. I have often liked his mens wear but as far as funk asia is concerned...well i am not too keen on their stuff. No offense, but most of it looks its being picked up from randomn bazars and there has been no thought, no novelty behind those creations.
So, ya i like his mens wear though its kinda pricey compared to JJ but i think most of the times its worth it. Also, we got my bhai's wedding sherwani done from him which they did a good job at and we got something very special made for my dad which i designed and they made for us and that turned out even better than the sherwani. So if you want to make something different they are open to it too and make it according to your idea, design.

^^ it IS pretty terrible quality. i know someone who works at fnk asia. she told me the cloth is purchased from itwaar bazaar and pathaan babas. Its just the way they mix and match their cloth together which is really cute and hip (if u plan to wear it once and chug it out then quality is no biggie). she actually made me a formal outfit as a gift and after wearing it just once I can see the cloth deteriorating! i have never experienced such BAD quality.
I emailed fnkasia a while ago at the address provided on their website inquiring as to the prices of some outfits and they did not reply. When emailing them I did not mention where I reside because I was sure they would quote a higher price as soon as they knew I was living overseas (perhaps they think we are all fools and have money growing on trees in our backyard). so far no reply...im guessing its because I left the part about where I live out. So double no no from me on bad customer service and bad quality. the outfits are cute though. prices in pakistan were mid-range in my opinion (more expensive than outfits at cynosure/generation would cost you) while I was there a shirt would sell for around Rs. 3000 and you would have to purchase the trousers/stole seperately (the mixing and matching part) the trousers were Rs. 700 and up as I remember. So a full suit would cost around Rs. 5000 at the cheapest.
i went to amir adnans shop...his mens wear is alright. his ladies wear section was limited in variety. I saw a couple of pieces that were drop dead gorgeous. Exorbitant prices to match ofcourse.

Funk Asia has good designs but they're not extraordinarily good. And the kapra quality is pretty cheap. However, if youre in a rush to buy good formal wear it may have a couple of things worth buying and wearing like some of the pishwaas that they have in stock currently are really pretty.

hi guys, my mums in islamabad at the mo and i sent her along to the fnk asia shop as i'd seen some really cute outfits on the website. Girls, she was not impressed!!! my mum is really into her kapray and can spot "tat" a mile off and she said the quality of the material was really terrible. the designs were nice but she said she werent shelling monety out for an outfit that wouldnt last more than a wash. she said "is sai uchay quality kai kapray Primark mein mill jaatai hain!!!!"
I was gutted to say the least as there designs on the website are ace,

I bought several outfits from fnkasia and actually loved them all.....they have good casual off the rack clothes and they're very trendy
for the Amir Adnan for women's I bought a few outfits and I'm really happy with them
he has interesting designs and the prices for most of them are ok
The outfits that I've bought haven't given me a problem as far as quality of the fabric goes.....so idk maybe it depends on which outfits you got because believe me I've worn all of them several times now

^ I agree I've bought casual Kurtis to wear and love the designs- always get compliments. I haven't had any problems with the cloth. I'm not sure if I would get formal clothes from them though

I bought 2 and the material isn't of the best quality and the crystals came-off!
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

i lovelovelove their designs!
but i have to admit that the quality is not that great!
but what i do is wait for the end of season sale, where you can get stuff upto 70% off.
then i make my own trousers and duppattas, i just get the shirts from there.
also i found that if you handwash, they last a very long time
