Thats something I wear everyday along with a lip gloss so I am still looking for something good. I really like the hashmi desi kajal thing because it creates a smooth dramatic line but it smudges. Have you found an eye liner which still has that look but doesn't smudge?
Very off topic, but sephora has this awesome stilla eye shodow quad for only $10!

I like mac's fluidline coz its so smooth to apply and i also like the bodyshop eyeliner but you need a very steady hand for that, it does last though.

I bought myself Lakme and wanted to draw those beautiful typical desi eyes but I realised my eyes were hurting a little bit from it? Is a normal Kajal good for the eyelid? Or should it be merely used for the waterline? If not I'll simply go back to hashmi but which hashmi there's so many :S?? Any suggestion?

Ahh that one I thought you had meant the powder type one...and it really works for the top line I mean the eyelid to get those beautiful desi eyes?
ARGH I just sharpened my new Lakme one and now less than half is left of it! :@ It's so upsetting!
But how do I apply this stick I have the same but I dunno how to apply it properly :S it never works on my eyelid or I can't draw a long line with it :'(

For the waterline the Mac eye pencil (the one that sharpens) lasts a long time and you get more product out of it than you do from the Mac eyeliner stick in the tube.

so guys only hashmi kajal can do the job???
i have the red hashmi kajal in stick form and yeah its so messy...
i need the sharp kajal look as is obvious in star plus dramas..only hashmi is the one to make it??? no other int'l brands?
by the way i got this gel eye liner pencil from wool worths and its good but not for the waterline...gets messy afterwards! andmakes by eyes more watery..
gina where r u?

Well I bought myself a liquid eyeliner by Bodyshop and a kajal stick by essence. And both are great, I don't know why but my eyes sometimes start hurting from the kohl/surma I have really sensitive eyes. I think liquid eyeliner is just as good, I am still trying to figure out how to get those desi-make-up eyes by using the hashmi one xD
