wise suggestion tu yehi hai k don't take off hijab. u can still wear long neckalases, bangles and fancy rings. hijjab normally doesn't hide the embroidered back of ur dress. i'm talking abt the way arab gals wear it.
but if u feel it necessary u can go without it that day or set duppata with pins in a way that u can still show off ur jewelery but still not look like a bride.

Worried

many of my friends that take hijab put their hair back in a bun (joora) and do the same with hijab. I have seen many afro american girls wear hijab the same way and you neckline front and back still visible.

Take a look

Head Scarves - Square head scarf for cancer chemotherapy patients - Easy scarf tying

You can also take it on top of ears so you can wear long earrings

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

none

You can still tie your hijab properly so you are covered in the front while the back kaam is showing

As for the necklace, if its long maybe it will still show. I have seen girls put their necklaces on over thei hijab, but personally I dont like that look

Have you ever seen the drama 'Jugni Chali Jalandhar' ?

Jugni is often with a dupatta and lots jewellery and kaam wala suit.
And it looks sooo nice and traditional.

Procrastinating

I have even worn a sari with hijab. It can look very elegant if done properly. Your ears cannot be showing, or it does not fulfill the requirements of hijab, so forget the earrings and focus on wearing a beautiful pendant necklace, bangles, and rings. A long heavy pendant looks very nice with hijab. If you have a heavier dupatta (too heavy looks bridal) that you want to wear on your head, you can wear a smaller rectangular scarf under it and pin it so that your neck is covered. The heavier dupatta can be worn on top, similar to the Jugni look above.

Otherwise, have a simple scarf made in the same color of the clothing that you are wearing, maybe edged in a simple variation of the kaam on your clothing on the edge, and wear your dupatta as you normally would.

Hope this helps.

i liked that turban ones. with heavy embroidered coat n pants it would look rather stylish. though not everyone can pull off that style.
