Has anyone tried obagi blue peel? My local skin care center is having a special.. buy 1 get 1 peel done for free. I am considering getting it done. What do you guys think? Would it be worth it?

I haven't done the Obagi Blue Peel but have heard loads of good things about it from other ppl. I did a standard TCA peel instead which is pretty similar, made my skin look amazing and really really smooth. Only downside was having to stay indoors for over a week whilst my face peeled off. Try the MakeMeHeal site 4 reviews and more info on the procedure. Also, found a day-by-day review here, gives u an idea of what to expect if u decide to go thru with it:

Obagi Blupeel First day of a chemical peel

Hi Deeba
thank you so much for the reply. if you don't mind me asking how much was the TCA peel? I have heard good things about this peel but i am scared to do it and my family thinks i am crazy. I like to get rid of acne scars that i have on my face. Did you have any scars or discoloration? did it get rid of it?

I didn't have scars but my skintone was uneven (cheeks wayy lighter than forehead and chin) and I wanted my face to look good without foundation. I do know for a fact that tca does work on scars so I'd defo say go for it.

I did it myself lol yes I'm a bit crazy but it was v.easy and instead of several hundred pounds I think I paid about twenty or thirty for a bottle and the aftercare stuff. If ur not confident I woudn't advise it tho cos apart from the discomfort ur skin could end up getting burned and/or causing pigmentation problems if ur wanting to go for a deeper peel. I've had loads of professional beauty treatments so I know my skin quite well. Honestly the tca peel was the best thing I ever did to my skin, I looked like something out of a horror story whilst the brown layer was coming off but afterwards my skin looked better natural than it ever did with even the best quality foundations. Honestly, whether u decide to have it done professionally or diy (only if it's a low concentration so no risk of messing ur skin up) I cannot recommend this treatment enough
