So I go to Pakistan and I see all these people with flawless skin despite the fact that they encounter so much dust and pollution there. How do they maintain such clear complexions? Especially the dudes who are outside all day yet their faces are so damn clear. Is there a beauty secret that Pakistanis use that keeps their skin so clear? How do I get clear skin like them?

Stressed

I don't know about the dudes, but I've noticed many girls in Pak who have GORGEOUS skin. There is such a strong emphasis on being "fair skinned" that it's possible many women there tend to avoid the sun. This might be a contributing factor to their clear skin because it's common knowledge that sun is one of the skin's worst enemies.

Also, I've observed that the diet in Pakistan is better. Generally speaking the people over there don't buy junk food as regularly as we do here in the West......because it's so expensive. They don't consume soda and potato chips and cookies and candy bars as regularly as we do. I've noticed that such treats are usually reserved in case guests show up. At least that's what I've noticed in my relatives that live in Pak. So, diet can play a role. And of course genetics.

i am a pakistani and these days my skin is at its worst...
any how most pakistanis maintain a good skin by using these desi remedies drinking lots of water.. there are tensions to encounter but their nerves are pretty strong plus we usually eat plain roti and "salan" in lunch and dinner. and its twice or thrice in a month that we go out for junk food. otherwise pizza burgers et are usually home made. with the best ingredients
oh and there is no such thing here called *tanning or sunbath*

People in Pakistan don't always sit in the ac (extremely drying for the skin) they don't consume as much junk, they have fresh fruits and veggie's as well as meat.. nothing is hormone injected.

They also use simple home-remedies to treat their skin conditions.

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

^ How weird, I wonder why they r not sharing this beauty secret? ANyhow sahar, I wouldn't worry about it, chances are that these girls are using this crazy skin polish / bleach stuff that is all the rage amongst some circles. My friend was using some cream supplied from pakistan, and it gave her an extremely flawless look, turned her skin several shades lighter, gave it a polished appearance, really it looked like laminate wood flooring effect on her face.

Apparently she was only supposed to use it for 6 months, after a while she had very bad effect on her face, Dr told her not to use that cream bcos it had steroids and some other chemicals in it that harmed her skin.

Temporary instant beauty products like that is not worth the long lasting effects.

Depends entirely on u're skin-type..

Some commonly used things are besan, sandalwood, turmeric, aloe vera, mint, neem, tulsi, rosewater, raw/unboiled milk, fresh cream.

Cynical

Do not, do not, do NOT use Golden Pearl.

Believe me.

the actuall cause is the normal climatic conditions there, bcuz there r well balanced seasons not tooo chill(although summer is on the top) but normally their medium color toned skin always remain normal(mostly).the water is slat free,n in west the refined n cleaned water from salts (gud to drink) is very bad for hair n skin,,it dries out the skin n gradually makes it dull,,,n in west the mostly food is like not organic, also here food habbits include like sweets eating chocolates ect,,,n fry food is very commen...all these factors make the asian's skin better although there is more dust, more hot.

I have noticed that that water in Pakistan bleaches my skin. Instead coming back tanned, I always come back lighter.

Yaaar I just told ya the name of that cream( GOLDEN PEARL).............I didn't recommend to use. I think it's very harmful as it contains steroids.

I think it could also be because they sweat out all their toxins which is harder in west unless you do tiring work-outs
