The first couple of times it hurts but it was fine after that and now I'm used to it, it just tickles a bit

the pimples are because the epilator wasn't pulling your hairs out; they were being broken with the root being left behind in the follicle.

i'm lucky on dat part ...i naturlly have close to NO HAIR on my legs, so epilating is never a problem. although arm hair aren't thick but they're a hard pull but after epilating for a long time my arm hair growth has decreased to a large extent. So epilator rules.

epilator on face? is that normal? i've never heard this before ...
but epilation on legs for me is not a problem .... but i cant use it on my arms ... my hair is fine and small there, so epilator only end up breaking it and causing pimples .... i mean once you start using it, that body part becomes numb anyways of the pain ...
coming back to the face part ... is epilation better for face, or waxing?

farrah - i really wouldn't advise it on any part but if it's working on your legs, fair enough.
face would potentially have the same problem as the arms as the hairs are finer. any root hair removal distorts the growth of hair from the follicle but epliators are the worst for this. i wouldn't want to risk the ingrowns on my face.

I tried a Braun epilator 6 years ago, all that I remember is lots of pain, in-grown hair and big open pores on my legs. I would like to try it again since it was so convenient. Anyone has advice for the open pores issue? What I do to ensure that I dont end up with those?
