I had someone thread my eye brows yesterday. She peeled off the entire skin under one of the eye brows. It has been hurting since yesterday (almost two days now) . Not hurting that much as much before (only when I lay down now). I don’t care about pain it will go away. But I have lost my sleep over fear of permanent scaring? Is that a possibility? She keeps assuring me that it won’t happened.
She tells me it is normal, happens all the time, & won't scar.
But it looks pretty bad to me.
Anyone had an experience like this? How well did you heal? I can post the pics. Plz reply. I am furious if she did not know how to do it she should not have done so.

Apply aloe vera to it. And do not go back to her in the future.

I am never going back for sure. Not just to her I don't think I can go to anyone again.
I am praying not to scar.

Use the aloe vera which will ease the pain. When the pain has eased after a couple of days, ensure you keep the area very moisturised to prevent scarring.

However, there are good beuticians out there who are skilled in threading - u've just been unfortunate that you have had this experience but don't let it put you off.

I am trying mederma. I hope it works. But does anyone know if the eye brow mishaps can leave permanent scarring?

I see one thing for sure.

Gina you are definitely very helpful and provide good advice to everyone in need. And these are matters where most women do panic, but then your advice seems to be valid and valuable and it provides solutions that would otherwise be very hard to find.

KUDOS to you!

Sincerely,
Shabbo.
