Hello girls,
I'm here with another dilemma: what to wear with long/maxi/peasant skirts. I know plain half sleeved t-shirts will work but are there any other options? Post pics of tops you would wear with skirts or post pics of your favorite skirts(do mention the store name!). Thanks!
Macy's got some nice skirts these days.
i like the belt in this one...it's cute!

I think something fitted needs to go one top - because the bottom is so free flowing.
You don't want a loose top and look all frumpy.
Know what I mean?

When i wear long full skirts, i usually team it with a short sleeved T-shirt or tank top and sandals. With the fullness of the skirt on your bottom half, you definitely want to keep the top half slim and sleek. Also, add bold accessories!
I think a denim jacket on top always looks cute. I know the first 2 pics are maxi dresses, but just to show that a long skirt looks cute with a denim jacket.
And this is how i usually wear a long skirt; simple vest, long necklace, and dainty sandals:
Denim jackets are widely available, but make sure to get one with some shape, not one that looks like a box shape! Hollister, A&F, Levi's, Urban Outfitters and Gap are good high street retailers for denim jackets.
Vests and T's are widely available... go crazy with different colours.
Always accessorize, try a mixture of chunky bangles, delicate chains, beaded necklaces, dangly earrings, hoops etc
Maybe add a thin belt that sits just along your hips?
And finish off with a cute pair of ethnic style sandals... et voila!

Macy is much more expensive than the designers at Debenhams and the quality and desings are lower than Tesco's.
