Hey guppies...just wondering if anyone has used/knows of any good products/home remedies for hyperpigmentation? For some reason that I cannot quite figure out, I have patches of increased pigmentation on my legs and arms and its definitely not a tan... Saw a dermatologist a while back and he said it was related to inflammation, but didn't suggest anything useful.... Thanks!!

what a useless dermatologist
try seeing somebody else?
waise i've never heard of pigmentation on arms and legs
meanwhile u can try having foods that are anti-inflammation
such as fish, nuts, seeds and reduce foods that cause inflammation such as red meats, fried food, junk food, too much sugar

my friend has this and she went to a dr. who does OBAGI or whatever. you can find the meverywhere. he gave her 6% hydroquinone body "pads" that she rubs on her arms and legs once at night or something like that. hydroquinones safety is debated so it is advised to use it only for a few months as needed with TONS of sun protection during the day.

bio oil does not work for pigmentation. Save your money.

I am not getting blotchy skin but my skin is generally getting darker. I used to be pretty fair and now all of a sudden, I am all dark. I am just waiting until oct/nov to see if its just a tan...lol, could it be due to being not as healthy?

I have heard great things about the obagi range, namely the "blender"
