i was wondering would it look nice to wear front open or long shirts with shalwars or r they supposed to be worn with capris or straight cut pants only..?

Just a quick question - how do u pray in capri's? It's so wierd i think that as a muslim female living oversea's i try and dress conservatively/modestly, whilst in Pakistan, where the vast majority are muslims, it seems like modesty is thrown out the window with all the arms and legs being shown off to the world...i.e sleeveless, capri's???
I guess, each to their own....

nowadays in Karachi Culottes are in (not capris)
Capris (with lil bit of ankle showing ) are ok n look smart but the problem with our people is that they overdo everything,instead of ankle they love showing their calf urgh ...that looks vulgar and kinda weird too as it doesn't match with norms of our culture n society...

I've skipped shalwars for a long time now..i wear capris, pants (folded and straight) and cullotes.

I have never worn shalwar after my teens but trousers ,pants culottes capris n etc (wther in or not ) and nevr felt awkward wearing them nor in offering my prayers (just need to stretch the capri a bit down to cover my ankle lol)

Here is an example of culottes with kameez.
Another bonga pakistani fashion trend. Culottes are fine, just not with a kameez.
