May sound stupid..

Got my hair colored one week back (professionally).. took bath and color started coming off.
The top of my head is Red and both has some tones of the color but is the color I had before.

So now I want to dye my hair by myself (another red tone .. maybe burgundy this time) so I was wondering would tht cause my hair to have 2 diff color tones ( top of head a shade darker or lighter and bottom the color I dyed it? I am dying my all of my hair but wld tht cuz the color I already hve look wierd or something else. Never had experiance with this before. Got my hair dyed the first time and was a bad experaince.
Help if you can.

Reds fade the fastest.. if u color u're hair all over again.. the bleached hair will take-on the new dye and u're natural hair will take-on just a hue of the dye u use.

U're hair will be 2 colors.. if u want a uniform color u'd have to dye it u're natural color first and then opt for a 'tint' instead of a dye.

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Sweettooth

did u wait 30-48 hours b4 u washed ur hair? cuz if u wash ur hair right after dying ur hair the colour starts coming off right away.

if u want to fix ur hair colur by urself then go for any darker shade of red it will cover up the discolouration and i hope that they didnt bleach ur hair b4 colouring them. if ur hair r bleached then its abit hard to cover em up but if they r jst coloured light then it will be fine. i have dyed my hair red many time and it always comes out uniform. and use colour depositing shampoo and conditioner it helps the colour to stay for a long time.

hope it helped

:dont play stupid with me.........im better at it!!: :snooty:

Energetic

You could go back to your hairdressers, tell them what happened and ask them to help you fix it - you never know they might be really nice and do it all free of cost!
