Curious

Hello everyone!

I was sorted through my 3 boxes of makeup and threw away alot of old stuff.

Now im left with my foundation, powder and eyeliner-pencil and liquid.

I want to have a few basic essentials of things for both day and night and not 3 billion boxes of stuff.

SO what do you girls suggest i buy?

Can anyone recommend a good eyeshadow palate (however u spell it) instead of me having lots of little ones flying around.

Thanks ladies!

If you can, I'd get to a MAC pro store and get a 4-pan palette and 4 pan shadows to go in it. Get 2 though

It's very reasonable cost wise and the shadows are great. MAC have such a great selection that you can pick out 4 easily that work together. Two base colours, one highlighter and something for the crease that complements both base colours.

My fav everyday neutral custom made pan contains; Satin Taupe, Summer Neutral, Phloof and Brun.

What about the usual mac stores?

only pro store's carry the pans and palette shadows.

if you choose what you want from a normal store, i'm pretty sure you can call the pro store to order over the phone and have them delivered.

order it online and sometimes they have free shipping
i live in canada and unless it's an actual MAC store they wont carry the pro stuff
and buying pro palettes and refills is actually cheaper than buying the individual shadow so even if u pay shipping it would cost you the same plus they get organized nicely

if iwas starting from scratch then i would get the 15 pan palette and build on it as time goes on
sadly i already have too many shadows so i just got the 4 pan palette

the best highlither for asian skin is "rice paper" from MAC
it goes with all colors to put under brow bone
and my second fav color is "carbon" which is matte black color...really good for night looks
"knight divine" is a dark gray great for smokey eyes
unfortunately my day time ones are not from MAC

does anybody own a peachy-pinky everyday color with golden shimmer? let me know so i can find that shade

Tired

Palettes usually have colors from the same color-family.. buy a few individual colors/pigments.

Gold/beige
Ink blue/turquiose
Copper/bronze
Black/steel grey

Are a few must-have's

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!
