A question for Gina and ALL,

Today I made the Ubtan as per Gina's basic ubtan recipe and I added Saffron and Sandalwood too.
After washing I got red patches all over my face but they disappear after 5 minutes or so.
Is this normal?

And is it safe to apply Multani mitti after ubtan?

Thanks

Artistic

I use ubtan mixed with water only. And i wouldn't recommend applying multani mitti right after ubtan.

It's normal.. the redness is because of the cinnamon in the ubtan.. don't over-do it by applying multani mitti.. just folow-up with a good moisturizer.

Wear gloves when u apply the ubtan.. the turmeric may stain u're nails yellow.

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

U can use the normal turmeric as well.. wild turmeric is milder compared to the regular turmeric. Less stains

Hunny, begin with every alternate day.. u don't want to scrub u're skin with ubtan too often. Then gradually build-up and use it everyday.

For the stains left by ubtan, soak cotton-wool in any astringent/toner and apply it..
