I read about it on the net and then tried it and it's great, even for greasy skin!

It gives you cleaner, younger, healthier, fresher skin and it doesn't cost a bomb like commercial products such as soaps and facewashes which wreak havoc on your skin because they are filled with 'toxic' ingredients.

It doesn't feel greasy or icky at all, infact it leaves your skin clean, smooth and soft.

1. Massage (in small circular motions) a small amount of olive oil into your face.

2. Soak a washcloth or a cotton pad in hot water and wipe away the oil and dirt.

3. Rinse with warm water.

Pray for me when you see yourselves going all young and pretty before your eyes.

Throw away the artificial, synthetic soaps, facewashes and exfoliators, they are full of toxic ingredients, even the so-called "organic" ones, they'll damage your skin.

Balanced

Azeezah, I tried this too a few months ago and was incredibly surprised by how nice it was! I was expecting my skin to feel greasy, break out, etc., but it defied my preconceptions.

Coldturkey

I guess this is a part of the Oil Cleansing Method then?

I've yet to try it, after hearing so much about it from my friends... but they use a mixture of oils, namely olive, castor and another one.... maybe almond....

I may try it with olive oil tonight, thanks

Olive oil is fantastic.. but those prone to acne

Another thing..hot water. Please don't use hot water on u're face.. any damp sponge cotton-wool would work just as well.

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Gina I think it's pretty good for acne prone skin too, I use to get breakouts on my face and I tried everything, the whole Clearasil range and itjust made it worse.

Olive oil has really helped.

Face washes and soaps strip our skin of oils/moisture which our skin needs so our skin starts producing even more oil to combat the loss.

My t-zone use to be shiny but it's not anymore, the olive oil removes the old oils, dirt etc. which cause spots.
