ok people If we could share what home made recipes we tried, How long we tried it for and did it work for u or not?
I'll start
I have Combination skin with an Oily T-zone and my skin is also very sensitive with some acne marks...
I have dark areas around the nose area and the chin, So I tried the Cinnamon and honey mixture which I applied only to the dark areas for 30 minutes, then scrubbed it off with my fingers and then washed it off with warm water. Its been 3 days since I first tried it out, and I noticed tht the areas have slightly become lighter and more evened out.
Today I tried Gina's Ubtan recipe but added a few extra ingredients (which I found over the net) like saffron, neem, sandalwood and rose petals.
I left it on for 40 minutes then scrubbed it off, my face became quite red so I applied an Ice pack for 15 mintues (which was covered in kitchen towel). once I took the ice pack off I could really tell the difference. The dark areas where not tht noticeable and the ubtan left my face with a rosy glow, when I felt my skin it was really soft (usually it's quite rough)
I am very happy with the results so far, will let u guyz know the results of my skin in a week or so
U can find all Gina's recips in the ~ Glowing Brides ~ thread

Good stuff!!!!
I have tried her recipe for honey and lemon juice before and that has worked amazingly well.
I have also tried rubbing tomatoes on my arms after a really bad tan and that helped a great deal.
This isnt a recipe but I did take her suggestion on getting salicylic acid peels and they worked miracles...

Olive oil and sugar scrub, left me with a smooth and moisturised face afterwards. May not be best for those with oily skin tho.
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

I started applying the ubtan about 6 weeks b4 my wedding, and my gosh did it make a difference. my face had so many marks and spots and the ubtan really helped to clear it up.... along with the ubtan I was taking multi vitamins and drinking lots of water but the ubtan really did help
thnx alot Gina for me at least it worked, and im still using it with the orange juice as u suggested.
also im a fan of the cinnamon and honey mix really does help to even out the skin tone.
My advice would me once u start these home made recipes dont give up it will take time but u will definitely see the difference!
