Hi Girls,
I just have a quick question and was wondering if anyone could help out..A friend of mine has a lot of pimples on her face (not exactly acne, but just pimples) and she has started drinking something called Safi. Apparently the taste is horrible but it is supposed to be a blood purifier which in turn clears your skin. Now, I mentioned this to a cousin of mine who has a few pimples and she said she was willing to try it but she had a few questions which I am hoping someone can answer..:
1) Has anyone actually tried this? If so, how long did it take before you noticed a change in your skin?
2) How long should it be taken for?
3) Does it stop against getting pimples around the time of your period too?
Apparently it clears up acne scars too and assists with weight loss...for anyone who needs a remedy...

I don't think it helps. I know someone who had it for years but her condition didn't change.
She should just see a doctor or use over the counter anti pimple stuff.

Doesn't work at all.
It did nothing for me, at least and I took it religiously for 6 months or so.

Oh really? Could you please elaborate? In what ways is it harmful for the skin?
Thanks.

i tried hamdard safi! drank whole 2 bottles! it didnot help me at all!! plus i had to bear with that yukh bitter taste tooo!!!
i dont recommend it if you realy want to see a change in your skin
as for your pimples i recently discovered that applying baby powder *i use johnsons one* since its quite safe! it helps to REALLY shrink the size of pimple i have tried it and it works in 2 days.....i guess it absorbs all the xcess oil in it..........and 2 remove it after a few hours i use clean and clear blemish fix toner
do that!!! it wnt stop pimples but instead of a week or 2 the size will shrink in a few days

I don't know if anyone has the stomach for this, my brother certainly didn't but my friend drinks an aloe vera gel drink everyday (the concentrated stuff not the juice).
Her skin is amazingly clear but only because she drinks this everyday, whenever she stops for a while her skin breaks out like crazy.
Aloe Vera Gel

^ Yeah I agree...it's best to start from the inside...so water is a must! And a free-flowing bowel helps flush out all the 'toxins'.

I think they recommend a shot glass amount everyday. That friend drinks more though, like 100ml a day. 1litre lasts her 10 days.
