I've recently heard mixing powered Vitamin C and Milk of Magnesia will give you a face mask that is great for healing the skin.
Has anyone tried it before? What were the results?
Philosophy sell powered Vit C in a bottle and it's in a lot of skin care products, so it must do something.
OMG!!!

The Body Shop has a Vitamin C face serum.. I love their entire range of Vitamin C products.

^yeh. apparently products like that are not very effective. you need to take a large daily dose and/or apply the pure powder directly (and of a type that can be absorbed).
just wondering if anyone has used the pure powder to make a face mask.

Hi,
I have used the philosophy vit. c in powder form.I bought it from QVC once with some capsules ( which were amazing). You had to mix the powder with your moisturiser and apply...and yes it did make my face brighter, but never tried it make a mask .
Glad you reminded me of this..must check it out again.

milk of magnesia is good for oily skin...keeps the skin matte but i've never mixed the two for use as a mask.

vit C is a gr8 anti oxidant that helps get rid of free radicals n aid in anti aging. using it tropically is more effective as oral intake flushes out of body. however should be used both orally n tropically . milk of magnesia i dunno wat it does for skincare. its a laxative, rite?

chandha knows SO MUCH about mixing up pure ingredients like raw vitamin c powder etc. we should ask her...chandha...? the only thing is with using raw vitamin c powder is that it oxidizes fast so you need to mix it up every 2-3 days again that's all i know for now ! will ask my skin expert friends too.
