Garnier is HORRIBLE! I strongly suggest that you stay away from it. Since I switched to Matrix (a shampoo/conditioner only available from salons) about a year ago my hair is MA in AMAZING condition, even though I straighten it once a week. I would definetly suggest Matrix. Not sure about supermarket stuff as I stopped using it ages ago.

Princess which salon did u get it from?
No name, changing shampoo often gives hair fall too. I have tried both these shampoos and i wont recommend any of them. Loreal elvive may give good results in short term but it causes lots of hair fall too. Pantene was among the worst shampoos on yahoo the other day

Jalpari: I live in Australia and purchased it from Hairhouse Warehouse..don't think you guys have this store in the States or UK. But overall I would definetly recommend salon products over supermarket stuff...I have found it to make a huge difference.

I've had a similar experience with Herbal Essence. In the short run everything seemed perfect, however 6months into using it I started to get major fallout. Now I'm very skeptical about using drugstore brands. I use Giovani's 50:50 Shampoo (SLS free) in combination with Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm (Silicon free). It worked for me

i have been using redkin smooth down or all soft (forgot the name) since more then a year now with neutrogena's clarifying shampoo. i would strongly suggest that no matter what shampoo u use please make sure to use a clarifying shampoo after atleast 3 to 4 washes of your regular shampoo. what it does it clear your hair from the chemical build up caused by shampoo which cause hair fall.

all shampoos are good depends on which one suits your type of hair, should also switch brands regulary if you want the product to do something for your hair.
try toni and guy as a treat on special occasions, also you can try coconut and almond shampoo from boots in uk, contact me for furthur details as i am a cosmotologist (and supply hair and beauty products)
