Spock the reason it is not public is because people have multiple nicks and they vote multiple times.

Whether that is being done or not, may be true. But the purpose for the poll to not be public was absolutely not to allow multi-nick voting to occur purposely. It was made this way at the disrection of the moderator, and "make public" option was accidently overlooked. For the poll to be made public, it has to be designed as such, and in haste/slip of the mind, the option can be overlooked quite easily.

All previous polls recently have been public for all to see. It is expected of everyone to vote honestly;however, if some choose to voilate that integrity then it is unfortunate.

Regardless. GS has an active habit of over looking this public aspect. Make it a default option. You can do this with one click. Hop to it. This software has the ability to make polls public since 2004. Odd you guys never do it.

That can be looked into, and whether it's possible to make it exceptionally for PA/WA only.

But the reason it is done optionally (as right now) is because in other sub-forums, some of the poll questions can be sensitive and the member(s) want to remain anonymous when casting their choice, so it gives the moderator the choice to make it non-public. It is non-public by default.

Nonetheless, will look into it and see if it's possible.

Its not an issue of being looked into. It can be done easily. Your version has all these options available and I have *****ing about this for 4 years. It is possible. It can be done.

The fact that you guys only started to do this in the last year is well beyond me. But transparency is hardly something GS is known for.
