Ramadhan Theme ?

Assalamo Alaikum.

I was just slightly curious k Kuch din pehley 14 August Aaya and went ..aur GS ka mahol hi badal giya .. all the gehma gehmi ..., the Changing of Avatars, Compatition for Banners.. lil pak round flags flying in the middle of the page... the whole theme of GS was go Greeeeeen ...

Lekin Ab Ramadhan Shareef Aaya jo i thnk ..and others would agree too k is more important than 14th August .. to Ab kahan hein Compatition for Banners, Changing of Avatars....etc

Cant we have something ... similar to Celebrate Ramadhan .. ?

We always have special things planned for Ramzan and both the Eids. In majority of forums, you will already find discussions on different topics related to Ramzan. Banners are in progress. They will be up soon. We also encourage our posters to open event related threads. So please feel to start thread(s) on various ideas you have.

Ramadhan mai I think most of us should concentrate on Ibaadat so the competition & other things should be such that it encourages one to do more Ibaadat & other good things like maybe donate ya kisi ko iftar karaana etc

Fbi bhai Patience !

Ramadan begins tomorrow and GS will surely revere this occasion more than others .

If you browse through the various forums you will surely find various threads and discussions related to the Holy month and more will follow as we settle into this month. We have Ramadan greetings , Khatm-e-Qur'an , Nasheeds posted in the various forums as well as threads on having a healthy ramadan.

Please feel free to contribute to these threads as well as open new threads related to Ramadan as i'm sure you have a lot of knowledge that you can share with our members !

I suggest that we do not compare 14th Aug Celebration with Ramadan observance. One should not expect the same halla gullah and hangamaa, instead more serene, peaceful and respectful atmosphere.

As far as threads are there, I agree with you. We should and we will have appropriate threads. In fact they are popping up every where in each forum already. Ramadan is not something we need to force on Members. Our members are already starting and posting ramadan threads.

and btw, banners should also be up soon, thanks to K337

Totally LOVING the banners! And yes, the Ramadan threads that are up are soo useful & informative. Great job once again GS
