i've seen the movie of 'namesake'. i liked it. i'm sure that the book is even better. it's got a story that can be discussed to the ground, but still leaves you wondering why you feel the way you feel.

Yeah mahismart, m done. Its kinda depressing book but at the same reassuring that life will change for better if we keep trying. It reflects the value of women or rather the lack of it in Arab world. A very good read.

My next read is MY NAME IS RED by Orhan Pamuk

all jane austen fans gather 'round...i've an announcement :d

i found this book at the library today...its a sequel to pride and prejudice called 'lydia bennet's story' by jane odiew. of course i checked it out, but i haven't started reading it yet.

have any of you read it? :d i'm excited to see if this could be something better than fan fiction!

dewani, I thought I was the greatest 'Pride and Prejudice' fan ever born but you beat me to it by finding 'Lydia Bennet's Story'. The author has a few other sequels up her seleeve. I would really love to find out the books here.

you know what..i read the first few pages, but i got this feeling that the diction is all wrong..i was hoping for something austen-style, but jane odiwe's style was just too bland, kwim?
