Why we began reading Harry Potter.

Mine was a dare.

Once upon a long time ago, my aunty had dared me not to fall in love with the books, I, as always never shy away from a dare.

Had read the first 3 books within a week. :(

The title is meant to say ' Lets Discuss'

i was waiting for the fifth movie and i couldnt wait anymore so i read the fifth one and then the sixth and then the rest.

My brother borrowed a copy of Harry Potter from one of his classfellows at school. It was book 3, The Prisoner of Azkaban. I was intrigued and started reading it...

I have read them all many times. But I hate Harry Potter movies.

I dont hate the movies, but I some of them are really stupid. I mean, they dont even show Dobby or drunk Winky! I love drunk Winky!

I like Dobby, he is so sweet and innocent, bechara.

i can't remember. i heard so much about the book, so i think i started reading the 4th one when i came out. loved loved loved it!!! and yeah, that's how it started :bummer:

I always thought the books were boring, but then I decided to borrow from my friends to see what all the hype was about around when book 3 was released. I loved book 3 and so decided to get all the rest subsequently when they were released.

^yeah, I read book 3 first. And that could be the reason why I like that one more than others.

I resisted for years and then I read book 1 on an airplane, I was hooked, then I read them all. When I started reading them, only the first 3 were out, so I had to wait for the rest. I just find it very encouraging that children wait in line at midnight for a BOOK in this day and age. It's a good thing man, it's groovy. The books also get darker as they progress. I am going to try my best to get Lila to read, I already have a bunch of Enid Blyton books that she will start reading when appropriate.

watched the first three moveis because my roommate loved harry potter movies and thn when the 4th book came out my supervisor made me read it so he can discuss the book with some one (me!) and well i still haven't read the first three books but did buy the whole set :)
