You may have noticed that some members have a golden stripe bar in their postbits (the avatar area). These are VIGs (very important guppies). They have earned their ranks by accumulating 10,000 or more posts. We have a number of cool features and services waiting just for them. VIG Lounge is just one of the perks. Wana know more? Be friends with some VIG or grow your own posts!
And yes, moderators by devoting their precious time here climb to VIG status instantly. 
Oh almost forgot. Even within VIGs there are two ranks. If you have 10K posts, you are VIGe (elite) and later on we will open up the paid membership VIG status. Not sure if its going to be $1 or $10 or $1M.
