that they don't have time to even have time to go to the loo?

Yes me , me.
It happens to me sometimes , I get so engrossed in the problem or challenge at hand that I keep on holding it off till the time I have to run to the loo.
Not all the time. Just once in a while.
I am a man with a plan. A plan to live a simple , fulfilling life.

If they are so busy then why the heck the pickup the phone ? They should be busy in their busy-ness.
Once it happens to me I would leave that person alone till they have the time to contact me.

Yes I agree.
But I feel they pick up the phone only so they can tell us how complex their lives are and yet they are so accomplished. You know, the martyr syndrome.

first of all, 80 percent of the people dont know the difference between being busy and being productive. They can be busy reading newspaper, watching presidential debate or GSing ...
second, some people think that being busy is some kind of badge of honor and they love to talk about it, though that fact is the for most of the part, it reflects their lousy time management skills.
"Some people can read War and Peace and come away thinking it's a simple adventure story. Others can read the ingredients on a chewing gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe."~Lex Luthor

Bingo!
So this lady last night went on and on about how her one toddler consumes so much her time that she has no time for anything. Mind you she doesn't drive so she never has to go out on errands. Her husband helps her with household chores. She hardly logs on to the Internet. I have a daughter the same age and an older kid and when I look at my schedule, I feel I have more time than her!

Yes there have been a few times where I had been so busy that I didn't have time to go to the loo. Usually at work, when its crunch time and deadline is approaching. Or getting ready for a meeting when I waited till last minute
But yeah I do understand what your saying, Niksik. I also have a friend who is home all day, and ALWAYS complains about how much work she has to do, and she is tired from cooking/cleaning. I fail to understand as i work, have a baby & also manage cooking/household duties often and still manage downtime. I think its in some people's nature just to complain, maybe to get a shabaash or a "wow your amazing, you handle so much".....etc....hehe
And trust me, this friend of mine will make it seem like she cooked 5 things for like 10 people or something, when all she did was make something so simple.

Happens alot in work, usually im so engrossed into something that I realise I have needed the loo for the past few hours.
Hmmm some people just cannot multitask, better yet, handle more than 1 responsibility.
