That is a good way of thinking about it. I do not think I mentioned it in the voice entry but I am saying it here, I am not going to force anything. I just want to be there for that person in case I am needed because I really adore that person. I do not know why I am sad right now, in a melancholic mood, that is why I made this voice entry. There are just so many things going on and I feel I want to do my part.

Sometimes doing your part is simple stepping out of the way and letting the other know that I am here when you need me.

Yes you cant force your help on any one but you can do some other stuff to satisfy yourself. Make him/her happy in some other way. Like by giving a surprise call if they are far. Or sending some e-card just to say Hi Hello or Miss you or mere friendship card etc. If they are close, send some food, cake, flowers, a surprise gift, saying that u saw it at shop and thought of him/her. Hence bought that.

I believe in giving away some smiles, may help the other person a bit if they are in some situation where u cannot be of much help.

Small things make huge difference.

You are right Fayax but I do not know how to let the person know that I am there for them. Even if I cannot be actually physically be there for them, I am mentally and also I can give motivational support. Something just hit home square in the heart earlier and made me really sad. I just want to make things right somehow.

Call idea is nice and will do that once I get some credit.. ! Friendship cards are overrated I think. No I cannot send cakes etc. You are right small things make a huge difference. Cannot give a smile either because the person is far.

What I do not believe is that something in their life is affecting me soo much. I wonder why?!

Do not wonder why they are affecting , if you are feeling bad about it, if you can forget do that first. if u can not then do what your heart says. but then i m not sure who he/she is and whats the actual situation. A call or casual gift would help more.

No I cannot forget because the thing they are going through is very similar to what I am going through right now so I feel I can somewhat understand their situation. The thing is I feel that I know them quite well but when something happens like it did, I think OMG I was so wrong I did not know them that well at all. I am sorry I cannot actually divulge into the actual details but this person is very close to me. I cannot gift them anything because they are far and call I will do.

Yeh, sorry I just cannot accept credit from anyone you know. I feel weird asking people for things. When I was younger and did not have money for food from canteen I never used to borrow etc. It is just who I am.

Certain people distance themselves from people or things that depress them. They try to indulge in things that makes them happy. Personally, I don't like telling my friends anything in detail. I might sound weird here but if anyone asks me what I had for lunch or something that annoys me too It's because you're not used to being asked so many questions, you're free to do whatever you want to, you can go anywhere, jab koi pochta hi na ho to ek insan ki wohi routine ban jati hai. I know who you were talking about and it's really nice that people show concern. I just don't talk much when it comes to certain things. I do consider you as a friend but I just don't want to pressurise people with stories
