How many of you workout during Ramadan (before, after or during fast)?
I think it's useless to work out during ramadan because you are not fueling your body with essential vitamins, minerals, etc. Perhaps it's ok to do something low impact like walking or pilates/yoga....I just dont have the energy nor the time to do it. So I usually skip working out during the month of Ramadan.

We have what, less than a month left now. Ramadan motivation have started early...
For complete workouts including your body-building routines, it might be beneficial to do it an hour after sehri, or an hour after iftaar. You could also take ~50g of protein shake before you go to sleep, and go work out after sehri, so you have an adequate supply of proteins in your body.
All up to an individual.

No, I can't possibly work out during Ramadan. Can't seem to fit it in. I would be too thirsty, and I just am too lazy to wake up 1 hour before sehri!

I had the same question on my mind last night...So maybe the fasting is enough. DO any of you lose weight in Ramzan??

i have no energy during ramadan to work out... i'll just focus on drinking lots of water at sehri and iftari, and eating super healthy.

same here niksik. I'll feel too weak and have lack of energy to workout.

that's not a bad idea...pushups work out many muscles in your body and it's not time consuming either....that along with some crunches may just be a nice routine during ramadan.
Some people lose, some people gain and others remain the same...it really depends on what you are eating.
I am usually the same way except during ramadan. I'm too tired and it's difficult to fit it in before fajr and def after iftar...after iftar it's ibaddat time for me and for most people.
good idea
although I always say the same thing @ eating healthy then when I see all the yummy samosas and pakoras....that thought goes down the drain.

in ramazan you can better spend time on ibaadat instead of doing work-outs

Almost all my time go to ibadaat during ramadan, but I see no reason why I should stop working out when it's 1 hour a day. In fact working out contributes with lots of energy and focus.

Depending on where you live it should still be warm(ish) so going for a walk after iftari is good.
