First thing, get the tension outta ur mind.. thats the number one cause of u being skinny..
and hmm.. 6kgs and then 15kgs... thats a lotta weight.. around 45-50lbs...
eat everything in moderate amount and have 5/6 meals throughout the day consisting of mainly protein, carbs and healthy fats... i wud suggest u try to gain weight with the regular food, but if u've tried that already and results didnt show up.. then you should add weight gainer supplement or whey protein into your diet.. it'd require patience.. remember , you wanna gain the healthy weight and not the weight that u'd have to open up another thread to ask us how to lose the fat around ur tummy.!!

Everything you eat should contain extra calories. If you want a glass of milk, add ice cream. Add olive oil to veggies. and if you want to get REALLY serious here, there are a number of things you can buy...
Benecalorie. This is a milky/pasty fluid that comes in small 1.5 oz cups. Its 330 calories, all "good" calories and protein. You can buy it online at walgreens or amazon. Add it to oatmeal, mashed potatoes, milkshakes - it doesnt change the taste or the consistency but packs in the extra caloriies
Carnation Instant breakfast - its like a milkshake, packed with good calories and protein. If you want to push it further, you can search online for "Carnation Instant Breakfast VHC" (Very High Calorie).
These things are a bit pricey but will put the weight on you in a healthy way.

As others mentioned here eating only regular food won't make any difference to your weight. You need to add food suppliments in your diet like protein shakes etc. Protein shakes can add as much as 200 grams or 300 grams of protein (800 to 1,200 calories) a day. If you dont need it, the body stores all those extra calories as fat. But remember to check in with your doctor or nutritionist before starting any diet regime. He/she can guide you properly how much extra calories and protein you can safely add in your daily diet because if these shakes are taking you to the high end of the protein spectrum, you may be increasing health riskshigh-protein diets may cause bone loss and kidney damage.
