I recently tried Tae -bo,the Billy Blanks Dvd.(yeah that scary looking guy you might recognize from old infomercials!)
And did it kick my butt!!
I've started working out again , about three months ago , mostly running on my tread-mill , and free weights, so I thought I was in pretty good shape.
I put it on , and it's about an hour long work-out , with mostly kicks and punches.you might think it looks easy , but it's SO not.
I even felt a little silly in the beginning , punching and kicking thin air ...guess I had another think coming.
I was SO sore the next day, even walking down the stairs felt hard. And I could even feel the muscles that I've never felt before.

Just wanted to know if anyone else here has tried it and what they thought of it?

I used to do Tae bo regularly, and I loved it! As annoying as Billy Blanks is, the workout videos were awesome. Nowadays, instead of just doing cardio, I'm doing a mixture of various workouts.

Hey thanks for your input!

He can be annoying, with his 'I love you's" and "God is watching you!" hehe
The first day I got in only half of the video, but the next day I did the whole thing.

Just wanted a change from my regular treadmill routine I guess, and work different muscles.
Let's see how it goes ...

s_mk, I don't think I ever finished a video. I'd just do the first 20 min or half an hour. That's all I've ever had the stamina or motivation to do. I get bored of working out very quickly.
