hi people anyone please suggest some healthy tips for gaining at least 5 kgs im soo worried because due to regualr fasting ive started looking so worn out i just want to put on a little on my arms and bust. i weigh 45 kgs at the moment and i am 5'7" tall so i look kinda stick. i love myself in jeans but after 2 weeks im getting nikkahed and i have to wear desi dress for that i need some mass please help! also i have been into regular yoga ive given that up too but its not helping either!

eat dates , bananas , milk , junk food (fried food) . Dates are very much recommended for weight gain.

thanks diamond ill go for the dates now because i am already taking a lot of fried food and snacks and thats not at all helping instead im ruining my skin:S but thanks for the dates wali advice

Can you get Carnation Instant Breakfast where you live? Its a powder that you mix into milk and its packed with healthy calories. Add a mashed banana, a bit of ice cream. Maybe some peanut butter.

got same problem! had gained weight from 45 upto 50kg during the summer holidays and now have lost 3 kg so hard to gain weight!

I try to eat alot of dates and drink milk and eat bananas. So hopefully i wont loose alot more ..

oh HNK even my body type is so prone to losing mass and i hate people saying 'you are so thin' and 'are you always on a diet?':|

Where are you located, Pakistan or somewhere else.
Im asking is because if you can find dietary supplements like Ensure shakes or not. I used Ensure with icecream to increase my weight some time ago.

i agree!!!! Why is it ok for people to say "you are so thin" but it's not ok to say "you are so fat"!?!? A woman said that to me yesterday at a party.. "OMG, you got even thinner" I wanted to tell her "OMG you got even fatter"!

Sorry don't mean to offend anyone.. but gaining weight is really hard too!

I am in pakistan ahan how much did you manage to gain and in how much time? o Lord i have only a week and a half to do so anddd my misery is i hate tasteless supplements actually im soo losing my appetite i can even survive on being hungry all day long:| i dont feel like eating at all at iftar time i have been on regular parathas in sehri throughout ramzan but no results

duh! exactlyyy you know bebo i love myself this way its my father in law who wants me to gain weight so that i may seem like a desi lerki with heavy biceps its just crazy how people think appearances are always in your own control!

My mother also has weight loss problem. But you and her cannot eb compared you are Masha Allah young and healthy. But the Dr has prescribed her ENSURE (a food supplement) to drink 2 times a day. That does really help her in maintaining her body weight. I know a couple of other people who are taking ENSURE....You shd visit a nutritionist , she/he can make a diet plan for you to gain and can also ask abt any food suplement (if you need)

hmm ok now 4 votes for ensure 2 from this forum and 2 of my real life friends suggested me thanks diamond i pray ur mom stays in good health because we young people can survive weight loss and body wear n tear but not old people

If its an appetite issue...I would say try the medicine Periactin(yyou should see a doctor first and let him/her prescribe it for you) It is an appetite stimulant.Also try eating a lot of pasta/spaghetti/ noodles etc.They are high in calories and get digested really fast. Good luck

For me I gained about 20 lbs on the Ensure Shakes..because t hts how much I lost to begin with.
