Well, excess of anything in your body would create some sort of imbalance.
Lemon juice is quite low in pH and our interior body mechanism is very much pH sensitive. Being on "Lemon Juice diet" seems very unreasonable and ridiculous to me, at least.
If you do want to lose weight, then modify your eating habits, control your portion size, and get yourself physically active. There is no reason why you should not lose weight if you are doing everything right. Nobody needs to go on such fad diets.
