I think you need more then just abs work out then. Do some cardio too.
That will help reducing the fat and then abs work out would do rest of the job.

I think its possible but you got to do work out more days.
can we move on routine from week end to a weekday? Or can we just add an extra day of work out on the top of what we have?

If have can maintain such an active life style then I think you should stop worrying about how it looks like on the scale.

1- you haven't mention doing any tummy workout?? do you do any? if yes what is it.

We can always do lunges instead of stairs.
What does your work out look like now? See the thing is toning lower body is piece of cake. ONCE you start working on it. Say if you do jog or run or treadmill. Lower body gets into shape quickly once you are active. So no worries there. As long as you are up of work out.

Now plz tell what is your work out experience. More details better it would be.

i walk on treadmill for 30 mins (5.0 speed) and then for around 20 min i do some exercises...like crunches and sit ups...but the prob is...i stay very inactive through out the day...havto do lots of work on pc...then attending lectures which means sitting non stop upto 6 hrs...thts the root cause for my huge lower body...do temme some excercises too for lower body and arms if u can...its encouraging to know tht toning lower body is easy...
my diet...i have 2 bran bread slices with low fat milk in the morning...and then i eat lunch after 5 to 6 hrs of starvation...cuz of my uni schedule...i think here i go wrong...cuz then naturally i dig into my lunch and later always regret of having so much...dinner is late and usually boiled rice or 1 roti...

1-how does your budget look like? Can afford another work out machine?

2-Can you find an extrememly stable object, about 8 inches high, on which you can stand? That will be replcacement of your stairs. You can get those 2X1-1/2 feet about 5 inches high plastic platforms from work out shops get 2 of them.
Buy two of those platforms. DONT DO THE WORK OUT SEE IS DOING!!!!! atleast at start.

3-how about working out twice a day.
a-jog on treadmill in the morning.
b-nice relaxing walk at night.

Once we get that stair things we can get your lower body in shape, with out a problem.

What tummy workouts you have done before?
Since you are careful with diet walk and crunches can do the job for you.
