Help.
I hear this is an amazing diet program. The problem is I don't understand how to incorporate a desi menu in it...
Can someone please share a sample daily menu please.

you cannot eat candy apples on the SB diet
I post this every 3 months or so:
DESI menu SB diet (first 2 weeks)
no rice, no roti,
all type of kababs, daals, salad, BBQ, shami, eggs, chicken tikka,
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

well i only did phase 1 for 10 days and lost 4 kilos which was fine for me i dont need to lose much. The diet killed off my appetite and i cant really eat anything heavy ryt now it makes me feel sick after. Kinda worried but i knw ill get over it. If you can maintain it, its really good!

hi guys...I've been on south beach diet for 3 weeks now (phase 1 completed and week 1 of phase 2) and I'm loving it so far ...I actually feel like I'm eating more than before!! If anybody else wants to do it or have any questions, feel free to ask...I'll try my best to answer to the best of my knowledge...

well I lost 5 llbs on phase 1...phase 1 is supposed to be the toughest as you're trying to help your body get rid of the cravings but once you're through with it, it becomes easy because you start to get in the habit of eating well...3 meals and 2 snacks a day so you're pretty full...you just watching what you are eating...I'll post the complete list of foods to eat and avoid and my own sample menu very soon...As soon as I'm done with this annoying audit work!!

I got the list but I dont see anything about canned chickpeas and beans and all that... permissable or no? oh adn what about coffee or tea?
it's the heart afraid of dying, that never learns to dance; It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance; It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give; And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live.

As far as beans and chickpeas, they are allowed in all the phases...which I find very helpful for desi food pallette (think chaats for lunch!!)...
more details positively tommorow...and may be we can start a support group for everyone interested...
