Now they have starting making KATI ROLLS - it's like a puri or paratha with either chicken or lamb with tons of masala chutneys in it - it's greasy but soooo good.

Aww PSquared if i was in Chicago maybe we could have gone out to eat or something. My treat for making you hungry

I m gonna try Hot Wok's Chicken wontons next time I am in Chicago. Oh & their Chicken Manchurian soup is good too.

Inchin's food... impressionable... I kind of agree with you on that. They don't really bother to sprinkle those extras on the food. Lol.

Know what's really weird my hubby loves Usmania's butter Chicken. For me its okay. Its too heavy. What went wrong with the butter Chicken? Another thing I have noticed with Usmania's Biryani is that if you were to eat from a pan like at someone's wedding or some event it tastes 1000 times better like the real deal from Pakistani Dekh ki Biryani. Check out Usmania Chinese some day. Its way different than the Hot Wok & Inchin's. It tastes more like IndoPak-Chinese.

No problemo Spock. Chicago has def. gone through a lot of changes since 04. Don't put your hopes up too high as everyone has different taste when it comes to food. In my opinion you won't be disappointed.

The dishes I mentioned are mainly American Chinese dishes. Schezuan is Southern Chinese. Didn't know up till now that even in Chinese food there are different kinds with different tastes. Like how a Karachi Pulao would be way different than a Punjabi Pulao. Thus different names.

Lo Mein at Chinatown Chicago? Nopes. Is this a restaurant in Chinatown or a dish served in Chinatown. There are a lot of restaurants in Chinatown. Got me confused there.

Whilst you're there, don't tell the staff you are from the midlands, they'll charge you extra.

wish i knew this when I lived in london......a lot of the restaurants I went to were "fusion" and needed something more authentic

Now, lots of angrez ppl go on about how wonderful tayyabs is, but i am put off by 2 things:

1 - it has similar fare to those desi restaurants in southall, which have all gone downhill - all the food tastes the same in all restaurants in southall.

      2 - IT GIVES U A DODGY TUMMY AFTERWARDS!!!

Now please can someone verify this, as i personally know 2 friends who have succumbed to delhi-belly after dining there. I don't want to be a victim too!
